Welcome to the Monolithic Incorporated online information database.

This is the beta 2 version of the Orpheriun 3 TC. This TC is designed to operate without needing TA: Core Contingancy or TA: Battle Tactics. All thats required is an install of Total Annihilation with the Cavedog 3.1 patch(may not be needed if using the 2 included exes). This TC is fully Multiplayer ready.
Note: Since this is a TC and not an addon, the Rhyoss and Scr'ee will replace the Arm and Core in the game.
Also note: The TC can be played on any land based map with water metal patches, but only space maps using the TA:DS tileset(or similar) will look correct.

To play the Orpheriun 3 TC in skirmish mode, use the included Orpheriun3 exe.
But if you want to play a multiplayer game agenst another player, you will need to use the ota exe that is already in the TA folder(TotalA.exe), or the included multiplayer exe(unedited v3.1 exe)

The first beta of the Zahn race is now available. You can download the beta here: Zahn race beta1. The race comes with: zahndata.ufo(the unit data file), Watchbot.hpi(had to fix this file, replace the exsisting one with this one to keep the tc working), weapon_fix.ccx(to update the Rhyoss and Scr'ee weapons), and the AI folder(which contains the 2 AI files, both are edited so that the ai only builds basic fighters and frigates, so you can play as Zahn and have a ballanced game.) Just unzip the files into your folder containing the Orpheriun 3 tc and play. The Zahn race is selected by playing as "othercom1".

There are 2 versions of the TC available. One version is for the TA switching program TA:Mutations(TA:M), the other is for strait TA(OTA). Both versions can be downloaded as 3 split files(to make it easier on dialup users).

Here you will find the OTA version of the Orpheriun 3 TC. This version can be installed into your exsisting TA folder, or into a new install of TA.

To Install the OTA version of the Orpheriun 3 TC you will need to do the following...

1: Install a new folder of TA and patch it with the Cavedog 3.1c patch.
2: Remove the OTA rev31.gp3 file from the TA folder.(make a new folder in the dir and place the rev31 in there)
3: Extract all the files from the 3 zip files you downloaded into your new Total Annihilation directory.
4: Play using the Orhperiun3.exe for skirmish games or the TotalA.exe/o3multiplay.exe for Multiplayer games.

To Uninstall: Just remove the files that came in the download and place the OTA rev31.gp3 back into the main TA directory.

Here you will find the TA:M version of the Orpheriun 3 TC. Install this into an exsisting TA folder that has TA:M installed.

To Install the TA:M version of the Orpheriun 3 TC you will need to do the following...

1: Extract all the files from the 3 zip files you downloaded into the TA-Mutation subfolder in your (TA:M) Total Annihilation directory.
2: Activate the TC using TA:M.
3: Play using the Orhperiun3.exe for skirmish games or the TotalA.exe/o3multiplay.exe for Multiplayer games.
